Pope S Brother Linked To Child Abuse Scandal
The systematic historical abuse of children at three dioceses in Bavaria by clergy has given rise to another scandal for which George Ratzinger has agreed to testify before any eventual prosecution with the iteration that he knew nothing of abuse. The statement has come at such a time when German Justice Minister, Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger has taken a stance against church while criticizing its policy of secrecy.
The criticism is declared an absurd remark by a church spokesman.
