Hammon Oklahoma is ripped apart by Tornado as the severe weather gets a destructive start on Monday. The tornado touched down the Western Oklahoma and went through the town of Hammon grazing at least five of the homes from the face of town and leaving many other businesses and houses sustaining different degree of damage. The tornado was reported being touching the ground near Elk City of Oklahoma and from there onward it remained on the ground mainly passing through the countryside for at least 15 minutes before coming to Hammon in the afternoon at about 5:30 p.m.

Storm Chaser Any Gabrielson has captured the video for this tornado and you may witness yourself by watching the video that what a havoc a tornado can cause while touching the ground. You may need not to watch the tornado based movie ‘Twister’ again after watching this video.

The footage is taken from behind a car windshield and you may witness derbies flying in the air as tornado takes every material object into its cone from where it passes. The voices with the footage suggest that tornado ripped the power lines off thus leaving the town without power.

This area is remained under the attacks of three to four tornados each month in this time of the year but this first one was more strong than expected.
