Apple will live stream its press conference today at 10 am Pacific Time, according to the official website. The Wednesday Apple event is invitation only and an official press conference. The Apple press conference will be held in Yerba Buena Center, San Francisco.
But unfortunately, the PC owners won’t be able to watch it as live stream can only be viewed on systems which have Safari and Mac Os X version 10.6.
The Apple live stream can also be viewed through iPhone and iPod touch. It would be the first time in years that Apple is live streaming its press announcement. Apple has not mentioned why the company is changing its policy.
This is probably to facilitate tech bloggers who could now blog live from anywhere to let people know about the Apple’s announcements.
As last year, at the Apple’s annual press conference Steve Jobs had to ask the bloggers to switch off their devices as they had jammed the airways and there was not enough bandwidth left for Steve Jobs who wanted to show the internet-related features of the phone.
Steve Jobs is likely to make announcement about the newest iPods and probably a success to Apple TV. Apple has been very careful to keep its announcements secret.
As a result, there are many rumors circulating on the internet about what could Apple possibly announce at its press conference.
