TCU Football team has many reasons to realize that they need to be more perfect again during the regular season for their chance at BCS.
TCU Horned Frogs did not face a difficult season opener despite their less than perfect performance and Andy Dalton’s two TDs along with another score and two intercepts led TCU to a 30-21 victory against Oregon State on Saturday night. A victory against No.24 that just missed making to the Rose Bowl however is something to celebrate for TCU.
According to coach Gary Patterson they won against a 24th ranked team that should be kept in higher ranks as it was a good game but he will not add the style points to his team.
His opinion was seconded by Dalton who said that he was not able to play the way he is used to play and that is something unacceptable at his part, it means the fourth year starter Dalton has set himself some high standards.
Dalton without any doubt became TCU’s winningest QB by hitting 17 of 27 passes for 175 yards and he also ran 17 times for another 64 yards thus also becoming the winningest active FBS QB.
While speaking of TCU’s Dalton, Beaver coach Mike Riley said that Dalton is an impressive player with quick decision making.
Dalton manages interceptions on the first TCU drive in each half and both these interceptions led to Beavers TDs however the man who threw five interceptions during the whole season last year has made it 5 during his last two games during this season.
