Lisa Barber the best American woman athlete has won the race. This year, it was 103rd Millrose Games held at Madison Square Garden, New York and Lisa Barber won 60 meter race just in 7.24 seconds by defeating Jamaican Veronica Campbell-Brown. She made a record for winning 60 meter in a shortest time period of 7.24 seconds.

Lisa Barber has made great achievements by winning world champion twice in the year 2003 and 2005.she won her first gold medal in the international championship in a 4×400 m relay at 2003 in Paris. She also took part in the race with her twin sister Miki Barber and University of South Carolina team members Demetria Washington, Carolyn Jackson.
This year’s Millrose Games were very interesting and important for Lisa Barber. In this 60 meter race for the world championship of 2010, the performance of this 30 years athlete was marvelous. She won the race by making a new record in the relay.

In the male competition, Lagat has won the 8th Wannamaker Mile race in a time period of 3:56.34. Bernard Lagat is an Olympics winner for silver and bronze medals in 1500 m distance. His great victory in the year 2007was two gold medals he won in the world championships in 1500 and 5000 m races.

British athlete Hannah England won Fred Lewbow women’s mile in 4:31.48. Chelsea Johnson of United States won the women’s pole vault contest. Priscilla Lopes-Schliep, Canadian athlete reigned in women’s 60 meter hurdles. American Monica Hargrove won gold medal for 400 m dash. American athlete Terrence Trammell won men’s 60 m hurdles; Mark Hollis won the pole vault competition for men.
