Evan the World No 1, Rafael Nadal from Spain has all the right to celebrate his second round win over Denis Istomin when he defeated his opponent with all the class, style and spectacular passion.
Although, Istomin managed his game in a great way and dragged the game into a position where he can draw the match with one set each but he couldn’t manage to give it the final touch.
Rafael Nadal has just regained enough confidence to reach to the final matches of the tournament by defeating Istomin and assuring his place in the 3rd round.
Rafael Nadal defeated Istomin 6-2, 7-6(5), 7-5 on Friday night in US Open 2010 tournament.
Rafael Nadal, the eight time major champion is looking to complete his career Grand Slam. He has reached the third round of US open for the sixth consecutive years. He reached semifinals twice but never managed to win the semis.
Rafael Nadal stated after defeating Istomin that “I am not ready to talk about winning the title right now because the title is far away, I am still five matches away and five matches are a lot”. He further stated that “I keep on focusing on my services all the time and it really works for me and this time again I served well and didn’t miss a serve that really boost my confidence.”
Another most important and great feature of Istomin and Nadal match was that Nadal served at 134 miles per hour and saved 7 out of 7 breaking points against Istomin.
