The Power is specially known for its “I’ve got the power” hook.
Kanye West Power Remix is not the first attempt by a rapper for the song. It was covered by German crossover band H-Blocks in 2002. Turbo B and Dave Gappa took turns with the rap lyrics and song was quite hit in Germany and Australia.
The Power was remixed by Punjabi MC and was named the Power (of Bhangra) after the Bhangra genre’s remix.
