The title does not mean that U.S judge has declared Osama Bin Laden free of the charges against him but following his death in the military raid on May 2 at Abottabad in Pakistan.

The US District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan has been presiding over the Bin Laden case in the federal court issued an order called ‘Nolle Porsequi’ means ‘Do Not Prosecute’. It is typical legal move which comes into force when the defendant is deceased.

The judge issued this order following an affidavit submitted by a senior official from US Department of Justice describing that Bin Laden has been killed in the US raid.
