The Santa Monica College survey

The board of trustees of the Santa Monica College are conducting a survey to get the exact plan for the demolition of the college building which is needed to be upgraded. The board of the Santa Monica College decided to demolish and reconstruct some classrooms and other parts of the college building but they realized and identified huge issues ahead.

The Santa Monica College is situated at a highly populated area and demolition can create massive destruction to the surrounding area, so there were people who opposed the demolition of the Santa Monica College building. Then the board of the Santa Monica College decided to conduct voting pool to do the things in the right direction without creating any problems to the surrounding area.

The Santa Monica College is not only facing the problem of disturbing the surrounding area but they are also facing the environmental issues as demolition of highly concreted building can disturb the environment as well.

The voting is in process which will allow the board to make the decision tree.

The Santa Monica College is accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The College was opened in 1929 and in the beginning only 153 students were on the college list. Now, it has become one of the biggest colleges with more than 30,000 students and more than 80 fields of study.

The Santa Monica College has also been considered as one of the most affordable education institutions in the world.
