Well, here we go! The winning numbers of the Wednesday night lottery drawing are 4, 9, 14, 39 and 43 while the Powerball number is 38.

So are you the one who won the $261.6M Powerball jackpot? Well if you aren’t living in Ohio and didn’t purchase your ticket from the Carryout in Sunbury, located up in the North of Columbus, well then you have certainly missed out on the $261.6M.

There were 3 other winners last night who won $1M. The 3 of them got all the first five numbers right while only missing out on the Powerball. The tickets were bought in Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Florida was again lucky as 3 out of the 10 $200,000 winning tickets were bought in the state. Out of the remaining 7 winning tickets two hailed from Tennessee while one was bought each in Kentucky, Texas, Iowa, Illinois and Maine.

An additional 1,593,727 smaller prizes amounting to $15.3M were also won at the last night Powerball drawing.

Since a $261.6M jackpot has already been won last night, the coming Saturday’s jackpot will be adjusted to be at $20M bringing it on par with Mega Millions’ jackpot of $17M. The Mega Millions jackpot drawing will be held on Friday night.

Powerball drawings are carried out every Saturday and Wednesday and the game tickets are available in 41 states. Surprisingly, Ohio had joined the Powerball franchise in April this year.
