Almost one fifth of the Country is flooded under dark water and millions of people, including children and women are waiting for help.
The World Bank has announced that they will provide $900 million loan to Pakistan for handling, helping and recovery from the worst even flood in the history of Pakistan.
According to the reports of Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan floods have killed 2000 people and affected more than 20 million people all around the country. Around 3.5 million children have feared the water contaminated diseases. The lives of six millions people will be at risk in case the aid will not reach in time.
The United Nations is playing its role very actively as the Secretary General of the United Nation visited Pakistan and floods affected areas and declared the worst ever flood. The United Nation also urged that the process of International aid is very slow which requires getting faster.
The United Nation also announced that $460 million aid is required for the emergency relief.
The Pakistan Government spokesman stated that it could take $15 billion and five year to get recover from the Pakistan floods disaster.
The food and agriculture experts of United Nation also stated that millions of tons of agriculture have destroyed in the Pakistan floods and Pakistan might face huge food crises in the coming years.
According to the local experts, the situation has gone out of the reach of the Government and international assistance and help is required to minimize the damages and to save the lives of millions of people.
