Nashville Flooding Pictures show a devastated Nashville and more incredible photos are pouring in at internet as inundated flood water has washed away thousands of homes and businesses in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.

As the area gets a historical record rainfall event on the weekend, Opryland, Gaylord-Orland Hotel, Opry Mills, and historical Grand Ol’Opry, all are flooded to some degree.

Not only is this, according to reports, Cumberland River pouring out some flood water into downtown affecting some businesses while crossing the highest level of crests. 11 Tennesseans are reportedly lost their lives in the thunderstorm.

Metro Transit Authority’s HQ is flooded and there is no bus service available, while Music City Star Rail Cars are submerged in the flood water and several sections of the railway are damaged due to heavy rain and flood water.

In Nashville, Cumberland River is going to cross the flood stage by a dozen feet reaching to around 51 feet.

In these hard times, Nashville mayor, Karl Dean has called the residents to curtail their water usage to only drinking and cooking as a water treatment facility at Davidson County is also flooded and completely inoperable.

Not only Nashville but outside Nashville, Clarkville is also flooded by Cumberland River whereas Bellevue and Franklin are flooded by Harpeth River

The American Red Cross has reached the scene and they have around 400 people in 22 shelters.
