A Mormon Bishop Shot, Clay Sanner was shot to death at the Church of Latter –Day Saints in Visalia, California yesterday on Sunday during the church services police said.

Colleen Mestas the police chief of Visalia said, the suspected gunman was later killed in a police gunfight.

The Mormon Bishop Clay Sannar was 42 years old and had six children.

According to the Church officials the shooter walked into the church during the Church services and requested to speak to a leader. He was guided towards the Mormon Bishop Clay Sannar, where he shot and killed him.

Police received a call almost 20 minutes after the shooting by the suspect, telling the cops where he was headed.

Police intercepted the suspect and he was shot during a gunfight between him and police Colleen Mestas said.

According to the reports the Church officials said, they have never seen the gunman before in the church and he was a stranger for them.

While investigators are still searching for the motive Police Chief said he has devoted over a dozen investigators to sort this out as, they have to provide answers to The Mormon Bishop Clay Sannar’s family.

The Mormon Bishop Clay Sannar is described as a good and hardworking person.
