Captain Phil Harris is a courageous and daring presenter of Deadliest Catch, a famous documentary of Discovery Channel. His death was confirmed by his sons and also announced on the Discovery Channel.

Captain Phil Harris died at the age of 53. He suffered a heavy stroke and was immediately hospitalized where he went in a medically-induced coma after undergoing a surgery of at least 12 hours. Last week doctors reported a little bit sign of improvement but then his condition gone worst and he passed away.

His sons Jake and Josh Harris said that it is very difficult and heart-breaking to say goodbye to their father and it would be a great loss for family and they will always miss the kindness of his heart, his undemanding honesty and his love for his family.

Network issued a statement about Phil and according to the statement, he was not only a presenter but he was something more than that for the channel and also for this viewers.
