Papaya leaves could help the dengue fever patients recover from the mosquito-borne disease, according to a recent study.
A research study done in Sri Lanka by Dr. Sanath Hettige on 70 different patient’s shows, that papaya leaf’s juice could help the dengue fever patients increasing platelets and white blood cells in the blood stream. The papaya leaf juice could also help normalizing clotting in blood and repair liver.
Dr. Sanath Hettige told the local news media that dengue fever affect white blood cells and platelets of the patient, as well as reduces clotting and damages liver.
Dr. Hettige also said that the Papaya leaf juice is not effective in the last stages of the gangue fever, because the organs in patient’s body are badly damaged by then.
If any dengue fever patient consumes the papaya leaf juice in the first stages of the disease, he could be cured.
