Traffic Movie Review

Traffic movie is a crime/drama, which was presented for the theatrical view in 2000. The director for the “Traffic Movie” was Steven Soderbergh, while Stephen Gaghan wrote this amazing flick. Traffic Movie provides the inside of illegal drug trafficking, exploring all the aspects from user to, politician and from enforcer to trafficker.

The flick explains in detail that how all of these people’s lives get affects, even though they do not meet each other.

It is said that the Traffic movie storyline is adapted by “Traffick” a TV series of British Television channel.

The director took the “Traffic Movie” to 20th Century Fox, but they require the writer to make some significant changes to the script according to the need of actor Harrison Ford. It is said the director Steven Soderbergh went almost to every Hollywood studio for his project, but was denied due to its subject and three hours run time, but USA Films not only agreed to finance his project, but they offered more funds to the filmmaker than 20th Century Fox.

It is said that the Steven Soderbergh operated the camera in the whole movie himself, to give the movie a classifiable look for every story that is shown the movie, so that audience could differentiate between the stories without any confusion.

The Traffic Movie was a hit on Box office earning $207.5 million worldwide. The budget for the movie was $48 million.

Traffic movie received numerous awards including Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor and Best Film.
