The Nanny Diaries: A movie about change is a 2007 comedy drama.
The movie is based on the same-name novel by Nicola Kraus and Wmma Mc Laughlin. It was written and drected by Shari Berman and Robert Pulcini.
The movie stars Scarlett Johansson, Paul Giamatti, Alicia Keys and Luara Linney. It was produced by Richard Gladstein.
The movie takes its start when Montclair State University graduate Annie Braddock becomes the nanny to X family while X family consisting of Mrs. Alexandra X, Mr. Stan X, Grayer Addison X is a family from hell residing at Upper East Side of New York City. Anne’s life becomes complicated when she falls for boy next door to X family Harvard Hottie.
Otherwise and introvert lady, Annie at the end mustered the courage to blast the X family couple of their misdemeanor through a spy camera hidden in a Teddy bear. Annie’s blast brings a positive change in Alexandra’s life and she thanked the nanny for bringing such a positive change in her life.
At the point table the movie The Nanny Diaries scored 46 out of 100 and it was considered positively made movie by 30% of the critics.
The Nanny Diaries may not consider a successful movie at the box office and although it was fall short of getting any awards, the movie was a good effort to make you laugh for a while seeing your own hypocrite life being displayed in the movie.
