The Forgotten Is Over! Abc Has Cancelled The Show!

It seems like the TV life of ABC’s The Forgotten is coming to an end as the network is cutting the show short! Tough ABC has itself not announced the cancellation of The Forgotten yet, but one can clearly learn the signal by putting the pieces together. Here are the details of all the news surrounding the show:

The Forgotten premiered on September 22, 2009 on ABC. In early November of 2009, ABC ordered five more episodes of The Forgotten and hence increased the total number of first season’s episodes to eighteen. But now ABC is cutting the show short and is reducing the number of its episodes. Reportedly, ABC has cancelled the March 23 episode of The Forgotten, and has decided to make the March 9 episode to be the season’s finale.

Even the March 16 episode was replaced by a flash forward clip, so the March 16 show has also been cancelled. Now keeping in view the way ABC has cancelled the last

two episodes of The Forgotten and also its generally poor ratings, one can clearly make a guess that the March 9 episode was not just the finale of this season but of the series too!

The Forgotten was a crime TV series which circulated around the lives of a group of dedicated detectives. The cast of The Forgotten included Christian Slater, Heather Stephens, Michelle Borth, Bob Stephenson, and few others.

Now since we CAN say that The Forgotten has been cancelled, we wonder what would Slater be thinking? This is the second show of Slater which has got cancelled too soon. May be Christian Slater needs to make better decisions while picking up shows. He should try to get a role in something like CSI or Criminal Minds, I bet that would survive longer than The Forgotten.
