“Spartacus: Blood and Sand”,Episode 13 turns out to be a fitting finale to Season 1.

For all those who have enjoyed the Gladiator-themed Starz television series “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” and in for a treat as episode 13 of the series knocks your senses dead.

The episode 13 titled “Kill Them All” of Spartacus: Blood and Sand makes all the previousinstallments of the series look like a Disney movie- Cinderella, to be precise.

Last night’s episode opened with the much anticipated duel between Spartacus and Crixus. If you think this is the main highlight of the show well you are mistaken then. Although the battle is accompanied by many flashbacks the carnage is still ahead.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand’s yesterday’s episode proved that this show is not for the fainthearted. Though sexuality and violence had become the trademark of the show yet they, especially violence, were taken to a new level in the episode.

Batiatus and wife Lucretia finally have things their way and what better way to call a feast than to set a death match between Spartacus and Crixus.

Crixus tells Spartacus that they may have been brothers in another life but not in this one. He believes that he must attain his freedom to win back her love, Naevia.

During the course of battle hell breaks lose and everything turns upside down at the venue of the battle. Blood is spilled and onlookers whether guilty or innocent are killed in a horrible manner and thus new alliances come into exist.
