Since Malinda Sapp, the wife of Marvin Sapp, has passed away, the church has posted a message on its website asking for prayers for the departed soul.

It has been learnt that Sapp was the member of gospel group commissioned and after the band got disbanded in 1995, he has been performing as a solo artist. The most current song, he crooned is ‘The Best in Me’ that rocked the charts and the fans love to hum it around.

Marvin Sapp and Milanda tied the knot 15 years back and both have three kids.

Marvin once said to the reporters, “The Lord said to me, ‘Marvin, there’s something you need to understand. Although your father isn’t with you physically, I will never leave you nor will I forsake you. I will be with you always even until the end of the earth’.

Then I walked into the pulpit with my Bible. When God began to assure me that He was there for me, I stood up. I grabbed the microphone and started singing, ‘Never Would Have Made It’.”

The fans are sharing their thoughts and leaving the condolences messages on Marvin Sapp’s Facebopok page. The funeral details are yet to be learnt.

  5. Pastor Sapp,

Only God above and within you fully knows what you and yours are going through. But because He knows and IS with you, He also knew what was coming and has already put into play a plan to bring you and yours through it. I pray the peace that surpasses all understanding be full in all of your lives today as He comforts, heals, blesses, ministers and protects your hearts through this most trying time. As I have found in my own life, no one is ever really lost from us, because memories made do remain. In time, what I have come to see is that those who have, for now, faded temporarily from our view, are really those who are waiting just up ahead a little later to again find you. God’s Peace I Pray For You Always…

There is really no words to say at such a time as this, but I do know that you can hold on too GOD’S UNCHANGING HANDS and know that he with hold you and your family tightly close through all that you all have to deal with at this moment. We all have to go to our HEAVENLY FATHER at time and ask why this ? But GOD’S says we will never fully understand all that we encounter but just know that whatever we go through he is right there holding our hand tight. Also remember Psalms 9:9,10. God never forsakes any man or woman who places his or her trust in Him. He may allow them to wade through some deep waters, but He will never abandon them. When everyone else flees, He will remain. So although you feeling like the sun done going in just know thats father covering you with his right hand and strenghting you for all that may come your way. My prayer are with you and your family. May the memerioes of your wife carry you through the rest of your life giving GOD praise.
