It was Rolling Stones Songs night in American Idol season 9. The American Idol presented a tribute to the Rolling Stones Songs in yesterday’s performances. The final 12 contestants rocked the stage of American Idol season 9 with the songs of Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones songs have always been inspiration for the people and listening to the songs of great band in various voices amazed me.

All the contestants on the American Idol have done justice with Rolling Stones songs, especially, Big Mike, Katie Stevens, Didi Benami and Andrew Garcia.

Big Mike Sang “Miss You,” by Rolling Stone it was bands last number 1 hit. It has been said by the judges that Big Mike performed the song almost perfect and the woo-hoo-hoo in the song that could have many voices sunk during the performance was performed in a great manor.

Katie Stevens sang Rolling Stones “Wild Horse” that made it to the number 28 on the American Chart, although the song was not a big hit, but it is one of those Rolling Stones songs that are forever. Judges said that they have seen Katie connecting with the song for the first time.

Didi Benami performed “Play With Fire” by Rolling Stones, she sang it in a very slow tempo. Simon said she was good but not brilliant.

Andrew Garcia chose “Gimme Shelter” from the list of Rolling Stones Songs. It was a dark and mysterious song but powerful from album “let it Bleed”. Judges said it was Andrew Garcia best performance since his arrival on American idol stage.
