Rock and Roll Hall of fame 2010 event took place yesterday and several classic musical stars were graced with highest honor and placed at such a place where their names will be remembered forever.
The new members were included in the rock and roll hall of fame 2010 like The Hollies and The Stooges, Jimmy Cliff, ABBA and Genesis. The notable factor about the rock and roll hall of fame 2010 was the induction of non performing names in the list like sound engineers and lyricists.

Genesis included Phil Collins, Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett. The band has contributed in the music world for four decades providing countless hits and two members of the band Gabriel and Collins had great solo careers as well.
ABBA, the band was consisting of members like Anni Frid Lyngstad, Benny Andresson, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Agentha Faltskog. The band had 14 highly hit albums in 70s and 80s and sold nearly 355 million records all around the world.
Jimmy Cliff, the superstar from Jamaica had a great hit of Johnny Nash remake of “I can see clearly now” and also wrote the movie sound track in 1972 “The Harder they come”
The Hollies band had the members like Bobby Elliot, Allan Clarke, Tony Hicks, Terry Sylvester and Graham Nash and band rocked during 60s and 70s.
The Stooges the band was formed by Ron Asheton, Dave Alexander, Scott Asheton, James Williamson and Iggy Pop
The Other people added in the list of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were Barry Mann, David Geffen, Cynthia Weil, Ellie Greenwich, Mort Shuman, Jeff Barry, Otis Blackwell, and Jesse Stone.
