Nikita (CW) premiered on Thursday at CW. NIKITA is but a re-imagined story of La Femme Nikita. Nikita (CW) is starring Maggie Q in the title role.
Division’s own trained spy and assassin Nikita is back to take her vengeance against the agency that betrayed her. Nikiti is back after three years with sole aim to take down Division.
Nikita (CW) has but one and half problems to accomplish her goal. One is her former lover and handler Michael (Shane West) who is still working at Division to make things complicated for Nikita (CW). Half of the problem is Michael’s new recruit Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca), to whom we have met in the pilot episode.
Nikita (CW) has a good and unexpected storyline as the pilot has predicted. After premiering of the first episode the fans are longing for more.
However few of the fans are of the opinion that Nikita (CW) does not come up to the standard of the original series La Femme Nikita as the new version of the story in shape of Nikita (CW) is missing the quintessence darkness that is loved so much by many.
If we forget the original series for a moment then Nikita (CW) is going to be a strong contender this fall especially in the presence of Maggie Q, Lyndsy Fonseca, bikinis and other sexy outfits and fights to entertain you.
CW has taken a step in right direction by dusting off an old series with a brand new warrior girl. After the success of La Femme Nikita, a 1993 remake with Bridget Fonda and a USA Network series with Peta Wislon are the solid reasons for CW to re-visit La Femme Nikita but with their own twists and turns.
