Kevin Pollak And Company Disappoint In ‘Cop Out’

The movie comedy flick ‘Cop Out’ is out and it seems like the film, which stars Bruce Willis, Tracy Morgan and Kevin Pollak, just falls short of entertaining.

The film is directed by Kevin Smith and is written by the Cullen brothers, Mark and Robb. The movie was released under the banner of Warner Bros.

The plot of the movie revolves Jimmy, played by Bruce Willis, who alongwith Paul, played by Morgan, gets suspended from NYPD. Jimmy’s daughter Ava is soon to get married Jimmy needs nearly fifty thousand dollars. And now that he is jobless it just makes things worse for him. Jimmy then decides to sell his 1952 baseball card to generate money but is robbed of the card at the sale point.

At this critical juncture step in the duo of Barry, played by Adam Brody, and Hunsaker, played by Kevin Pollak,

who are two edgy officers. The rest of the movie from there on is just a string of comedy of errors.

Personally I felt the movie is a complete disappointment for the fans of each of the star in the movie. Even the acting is adequate by the actors but a lackluster storyline never takes you far.

Pollak was one guy I was hoping who could throw some hilarious one-liners and jokes as he’s used to play the roles of a best friend or homie of the main protagonist but I must admit he too falls flat in the movie.

Pollak is now working on another independent thriller titled Columbus Circle. Being a Kevin Pollak fan, I hope he returns to the big screen with something really more entertaining.
