The recent milk recall by the Midland Farms in Albany, New York came after the failure of pasteurization equipment. The recent milk recall from New Jersey and four other Northeastern states came after the company admit that milk delivered in these states have not been properly pasteurized due to equipment failure.

According to the N.Y regulators the milk recalled under the brand names of Midland Farms, Trade Fair Premium, Corrado’s Market and Jersey Dairy Farm has been not properly pasteurized. The milk recalled, from pints to gallons was delivered to stores in New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

The milk recall came after the inspectors from New York regulators found failed pasteurization equipment at the Midland farms near Albany, New York.

The Midland Farms management agreed to recall milk as a precaution against bacterial contaminants such as salmonella and listeria.

No reports regarding any illness, after using the milk has been reported.
