While New Yorkers are preparing to spend their Labor Day weekend in countryside with cheese and wine tasting events, the locals at Randall’s Island will be dancing to the tunes of several artists performing in the annual Electric Zoo.

Electric Zoo is a two-day dance and music festival which is organized by Made Events – an event production company which produces several electronic dance music festivals.

Every year, the dwellers of Randall’s Island gather at the festival to enjoy the performances of multiple artists who come from different parts of the world.

Just last year, Electric Zoo featured 67 artists who belonged to 13 different nations. An attendance of more than 26,000 people was recorded in the event. Electric Zoo features electronic music and great food and drink options.

With its impressive layout and great dance, Electric Zoo has put a NYC on the world map as the best place for electronic dance music festival.

This year Electric Zoo is back with another awesome artist lineup. The event will be kicked off by Chemical Brothers who will be followed by Italian musicians Benny Bennasi, and German veterans Cosmic Gate.

On Sunday, Electric Zoo will feature Armin van Buuren and several famed DJs including the Paul van Dyk, a favorite of New Yorkers.

For those music lovers who look forward to good food too would be glad to know that this year Electric Zoo is featuring 20 appetizers and a wide range of vegan and organic meals.

Electric Zoo will also be featuring a variety of food trucks which will be parked around the Randall’s Island.
