The 24th Annual Dragon Con Convention has kicked off today on Friday 03 September, 2010 and will run through Monday.

Huge numbers of people dressed in their favorite comic book and Si-Fi movies characters “Heroes and Villains” could be seen walking in the streets of Atlanta to celebrate the Dragon Con Convention.

The Dragon Con is well known among the science fiction fanatics in United States for being the largest multimedia and pop culture convention.

The Dragon Con convention focuses on the Si-Fi and fantasy gaming, movies, comics, pop art and many more.

The Dragon Con convention includes the annual parade, with a costume contest and awards banquet to follow.

The earnings from the Dragon Con convention 2010 will be donated to the Lupus Foundation of America.
