Erin Gray is a popular American actress, who was born on January 7th 1950 and is quite famous for her roles as Kate Summers in the situation comedy Silver Spoons and as Colonel Wilma Derring in science fiction series ‘Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Erin Gray is the daughter of Diane and Daniel Gray. When she was just eight years old, her parents separated and Erin moved with her mother to California. When she was around 15 years of age, Gray met with Nina Blanchard, who was the head of Hollywood’s top notch modeling agencies. Erin was told to make the career in modeling.

Within no time, Erin Gray became the top model on New York fashion scene. While she was in New York, Erin developed interest in acting so she and her family then had to move to Hollywood since she wanted to make her career in acting.

Erin Gray got her first break on television as a dancer in the variety series, ‘Malibu U’.

Erin Gray has also written a book entitled ‘Act Right’ in 1990s and the revised edition of this book came in 2001.
