Charlie Murphy has been working in Spike Lee films from eighties (Not his but of time) and he has had given his voice to animated series Boondocks. Charlie has had contributed in the success of his younger brother Eddie Murphy’s hit movie Norbit as a writer.

With, I Will Not Apologize, Charlie Murphy has taken a right step in the right direction by launching himself as a stand up comedian. If you have gone through any of Charlie Murphy’s TV gigs, you would agree with me that Charlie Murphy is a natural storyteller and he has made best of this talent in his ‘I Will Not Apologize’ that is available now both in album and DVD.

In his newly launched album, Charlie Murphy has not relied on wry quips and overt comedic shtick; he has just let jokes fly out of his mouth. Although few of them are not dissimilar to his trademark Chappelle’s Show stories that are mainly reminiscence of situation in which he finds himself as a part of his job. The album contains few crisp observations by him about the absurdity of the world around him.

His jokes include quirks, people with male ego and culture of rehabilitation in the society. He has delivered all in a street savvy way and there you would not find any non-sense style comedy that means “do not take this seriously”.
