Bob Saget is a popular American comedian. His comedy is what people of all age groups like to enjoy with. Born on May 17th 1956 in Philadelphia, Bob is rated among the best stand-up comedians and is also an actor and a television host.
Saget is always remembered for his past characters in the family-oriented shows ‘Full House’ and ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’. Outside the television world, Bob Saget is regarded for his great starkly blue stand-up routine.
Initially Bob wanted to become a doctor but when his Honors English teacher saw his creative sense, he urged him to seek a career in the entertainment field. He then enrolled at Temple University’s film school where Saget created a film titled ‘Through Adam’s Eyes (a black and white film about a boy who received reconstructive facial surgery). In 1978, his movie got the Student Academy Award.
Bob Saget then began performing stand-up comedy and dolled up a number if national tours. In 1987, Saget saw his other side of talent and that was the hosting the shows, as he became the co-host of ‘The Morning Program’ – an attempt by CBS to take a different direction with morning television. Bob wrote and produced the content for this program.
Soon Bob Saget was roped in as Danny Tanner in the show ‘Full House’ that emerged as a big success among the family viewers. The show got on the Nielson rating’s top 30 position from the third season onwards. In 1989, Bob Saget got the show that took him to huge heights and that America’s Funniest Home Videos that was a big success among the audiences.
