‘Blades of Glory’ is a film that glided over the cinegoers when it released in 2007. Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, this Hollywood film is an utter comic caper with a claim to entice and make the viewer jump from the seat. Starring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder, the movie hit the screens all over on March 29th 2007 and distributed by Dream Works and MTV Films. Later same year, the flick was released on DVD and HD DVD on August 28th 2007 and then on Blue-ray Disc on May 20th 2008.
The film tells us about the World Winter Sport Games. The rival men’s singles skaters Chazz Michael Michaels, a skillful skater and Jimmy MacElroy, a luminous cum effeminate skater, tie for gold. Suddenly an argument develops that turns into a fight on the awards’ stage. This result in stripping them off their medals and ultimately are banned from men’s singles competition. Jimmy’s cutthroat adoptive father, a billionaire Darren MacElroy, instantly disowns him and throws him on the side of the road? What will happen to him now and what he will do is what forms the comedy to entice with?
Starring Will Farrell, John Heder, Will Arnet and Amy Poeheler in the lead, ‘Blades of Glory’ has the running time of 93 minutes. The film was made with the budget of $53 million dollars and received great critical acclaim by the critics. The film was well received by the moviegoers at the theaters. ‘Blades of Glory’ made great collection of $145,708,642. A worth to watch!
