James Arthur Ray, a spiritual leader and organizer of the Arizona sweat lodge ceremony has been arrested on Wednesday on the charges of manslaughter. The Arizona sweat lodge ceremony that held last year in October and proved fatal as three people Kirby Brown 38 , James Shore 40, and 49-year-old Liz Neuman, who participated in the Spiritual Warrior of James Ray, died after attending a cleansing ceremony during which participants experienced exhaustion , vomiting but were still pressurized to stay inside.

Ray has been arrested on $5 million bond at Prescott sheriff’s station in Prescott and Sheriff Waugh said his arrest will bring some measure to closure to misery and tragedy of the families of three victims of this deadly ceremony.

After these three grief-stricken deaths, Ray, who has written a books about his notion of self-help, expressed his sorrow about these deaths but he didn’t stop his work and continued his horrible deadly motivational speeches for spreading his message about spiritual cleanliness. His book with the title “Harmonic Wealth: The Secret of Attracting the Life You Want” expresses his philosophy.

Luis Li, Ray’s attorney, said in a statement that the charges shouldn’t have been filed and Ray isn’t guilty of any wrongdoing.
