The last we heard about Donna Yaklich was in July 2009 when she requested for a parole after nearly 24 years of jail time. She was originally sentenced to 40 years jail time.

Donna Yaklich is a convicted murderer. Reportedly, Donna Yaklich hired two brothers, 25-year-old Edward and 16-year-old Charles Greenwell, to kill her husband Dennis Yaklich, who was a police officer. Donna Yaklich promised to pay $45,000 for the murder of her husband to the two brothers and also told them that her

husband had been abusive to her. Her husband was shot at a December night of year 1985 outside the house while Donna Yaklich was inside the building. After her husband’s death, Donna Yaklich cashed $250,000 in insurance.

Donna Yaklich was a suspect in her husband’s murder and when trialed, the two brothers testified against her. Donna Yaklich was sentenced to 40 years in prison. In 2005, Donna Yaklich was moved to a halfway house after a prison time of nearly 21 years in Colorado correctional facility.

Today her name is again being searched on the web. Probably, some news has triggered the memory of her crime story in people’s mind.
