I believe when a question is being asked it should be answered properly and in a clear manner. Today masses over the internet are searching for the answer of the question “Who was the first lady to conquer Mt. Everest” the highest peak of the world. Well I did not know the answer myself till today, but as my lawful duty to provide the people with the answer of their question that “who was the first lady to conquer Mt. Everest”, I have searched books and internet to find the name of that lady. But before I tell you the name of that lady who first conquered MT. Everest, I would like to get a knowhow about the Mt. Everest and its surroundings it’s self.

Mount Everest is considered the highest peak of the world with the height ranging up to 8850 meter and it is situated on the borders of China and Nepal, but to clarify the confusion, most part of the Mt. Everest belongs to Nepal. Mount Everest is the part of a long mountain range known as “Himalaya” and it is one of the most dangerous peaks of the world. Many have lost their life, while trying to reach to the summit.

Mount Everest is one of the dangerous mountains, but it is not the most dangerous one….it is said that the mountain situated in the mountain range of “Karakoram” that belongs to Pakistan “K-2” or “Goodwin Austin” is the most dangerous peak of the world although it comes second due to its height (8614 meters).

So now to answer the question “who was the first lady to conquer Mt. Everest”…it was Junko Tabei, who became the first ever lady to reach to the summit of Mt. Everest in 1975.
