The viewers of ‘Tonight Show’ saw a very different Simon Cowell last night who appeared on the show along with his fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy.

The ‘American Idol’ judge, who is famous for his not-so-sugar-coated comments on the show, gave a different side of his personality to the viewers of ‘The Tonight Show’. After weeks of denial, Simon Cowell and fiancé Mezhgan Hussainy officially announced that they are engaged on The Tonight Show. The announcement came when the Tonight Show’s new host, Jay Leno, asked Simon if he was engaged. A blushed Simon Cowell replied to Leno’s question and told that he does have somebody in his life and that he has made a decision to make somebody happy this year.

Simon Cowell’s public announcement about his lovelife and his appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ with his fiancé was quite surprising for us as Mr. Cowell is usually averse to publicize his romantic relationships. And the amount of the shock almost multiplied when Simon Cowell kissed Mezhgan Hussainy on the show (but kept his eyes open, unromantically).

‘The Tonight Show’ host, Jay Leno, pointed out the large engagement ring of Mezhgan Hussainy and joked that he thought she had broken her arm. Cowell agreed that the ring was a big one. The Tonight Show host left no opportunity to tease him when Cowell lost his cool and started blushing.

Simon Cowell also talked babies on ‘The Tonight Show’ and admitted that he is old to have then but would like to have some little Simons around him.

Reportedly, Simon Cowell first met Mezhgan Hussainy seven years ago at American Idol. Mezhgan Hussainy is an Afghan woman who migrated to America along with her parents several years ago.
