Olivia De Havilland one of the most famous British American Actress to play the role of “Melanie Hamilton Wilkes” in the super hit flick “Gone with the Wind” is 94 years old, she is also the last living cast member of the 1939’s super hit flick.
Cammie King Conlon, who played the role of Bonnie Blue doomed daughter of Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara in the 1939 flick “Gone with the Wind” is the latest among the deceased. Cammie King Conlon died on Wednesday September 1, 2010 due to lung cancer.
According to the Associated Press news Olivia De Havilland was the last to call Cammie King Conlon right before her death.
Olivia De Havilland was born to British parents in 1916 in Japan. Olivia De Havilland is well known among the fans, entertainment industry and stage critics for being an excellent and marvelous actress of all times.
Olivia De Havilland won her first Academy Award in 1946 for being the Best Actress, her second Academy Award came just after three years of the first one in 1949.
In late 1940’s Olivia De Havilland moved to Paris, where she lives nowadays, and rarely makes public appearances.
Olivia De Havilland also received the National Medal of arts back in 2008, when she was 92 years old.
