Peter Graves was one of the most famous actors of the Hollywood star of the walk of fame in the previous year, died at his California home yesterday on Sunday 14th Mar, 2010 at the age of 83.
In the 1967 hit National Television series “Mission Impossible”, Peter Graves portrayed the role of an enthusiastic agent, but later in the days his career took a comic turn when he acted as Captain Clarence in the 1980’s comic flicks “Airplane” and “Airplane II” was found dead in front of Pacific Palisades home in California in the afternoon.
L.A Police Department spokesperson Officer Karen Rayner said that the veteran star Peter Graves apparently died of natural causes after experiencing a massive heart attack on Sunday afternoon.
His publicist Sandy Brokaw said, Peter Graves was with his family in the early hours of the day and enjoyed brunch with his family to celebrate his forthcoming 84th birthday on 18th March. Peter Graves collapsed after experiencing a massive heart attack in the driveway of his California Home.
Sandy Brokaw moreover told the media that Peter Graves’s daughter administered CPR in him, but was to revive the 83-year-old star.
The son of a journalist Peter Graves was born in Minneapolis in 1926. Peter’s birth name was “Peter Aurness” but he later changes his name and adapted is grandfather’s last name. In 1950 Peter Graves studied drama in University of Minnesota; it was the same year when he married his college sweetheart “Joan Endress”.
Peter Graves have three children all daughters and six grandchildren.
