Mary Osmond’s son committed suicide on Feb. 26 by jumping from the eighth flour of the building. The funeral ceremony was held on Monday. The funeral ceremony was held in Provo, Utah.
The relatives of the singer and writer were present to mourn the death of Michael Brian who was 18 years old. Singer’s brothers joined her in the mourning song and closing Hymn, “God Be with You Till We Meet Again”.
There were around 400 participants in the funeral ceremony to share the grief of the singer/actress. The members of Osmond family addressed to the gathering giving tribute to her son. The ceremony was held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel.
The actress was very grateful to the participants who joined her to share her grief and she thanked them all. She thanked all other family members whose support in this moment of trauma alleviated her pain. She told that it is the blessing of God Who placed her in such a family where everybody was a role model for her children.
She told that she wanted to utilize the occasion to pay homage to her other children. The death of her son highlighted the value of other loved ones.
She expressed great love for her deceased son and she was very grateful to her real mother from whom she adopted Michael. The real mother of her son was also present at the funeral ceremony.
Her son committed suicide due to some felt depression and left a note before jumping from the building. He also sent a message to one of his friends that he is leaving a note. An autopsy has been conducted but the reason of his death is still pending and finally be announced after some toxicological tests.
