Journalist Major Garrett Fox News has been known for his straight-forward reporting has quit the FOX News network and returned to print media journalism.

Most of the people in the TV journalism thought that Major Garrett has a prosperous future in the TV journalism, as he was about to assume the front-row seat in the White House briefing room, but Major Garrett thinks otherwise.

According to the latest reports Major Garrett FOX NEWS journalist has joined National Journal as a congressional correspondent, leaving the prosperous TV journalism behind, because he thinks that the pace of cable news is too fast for him.

Major Garrett said that the frenetic pace of cable news made him quit his TV journalism career, as he wants to talk less and think more, but under the circumstances it was other way around.

Major Garrett said he always considered himself an accidental TV reporter.

National Journal, which Major Garrett joined as congressional correspondent after quitting Fox News Network, is part of Atlantic Media. National Journal is under the process of reinventing itself at the moment, under the supervision of new editor in chief Ron Fournier.

Ron Fournier is the former Washington bureau chief of the Associated Press.
