Macgruber played by Will Forte on NBC’s Saturday Night Live will not be same anymore. WE have learned that Macgruber “Will Forte” is leaving the SNL after eight years.

It has been eight seasons since we have started enjoying the comedy of Will Forte in the character of Macgruber, but he is not returning for SNL’s 36th season.

A statement has been released by the publicist of the comedian saying, after eight incredible seasons on SNL,

Will Forte has decided to move on and to pursue the new opportunities of show buzz. Will Forte will always be thankful to the executive producer of SNL “Lorne Michaels” and all others, who he worked with over the years.

Many of Will Forte would have surprised with his decision, as it was not long ago when he told the EW on the release of movie “MscGruber” in May that he cannot think of leaving the Saturday Night Live, because it is the longest job he had. I love working at SNL.

Well, we could only wish him best of luck for his future.
