The ESPN producer and mother of three “Leah Siegel” who battled with breast cancer for a long time passed away yesterday on 26th July, 2010 at the age of just 43.

Leah Siegel was an inspiration for her colleagues, family and neighbors due to her two-year struggle with the breast cancer.

Leah Siegel found about her disease back in 2008 and an article was also published in Dallas News Story about her disease, other than that she also regularly updates her blog over the internet regarding her breast cancer issues.

Leah Siegel mother Myra MacPherson said that this was her daughter’s way of handling things, while helping other along the way. It was miraculous for those people, who read her blogs and for Leah Siegel herself.

Eric Loehr, Leah Siegel’s husband wrote on her blog recently that she spend past few days resting in hospice care, she passed away at 4:30 A.M on Monday. Loehr also thanked everyone for their support in last couple of years.

The funeral services for Eric Loehr will be held at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas on this Friday at 02:00 P.M. Another event to celebrate the life of this brave woman “Leah Siegel” will be held of 11th September, the details of this even are not available at the moment.
