Jennifer O’ Neill, the American actress and writer was born in February 1948. Jennifer O’ Neill was the daughter of Spanish-Irish father and an English woman. In her teenage, Jennifer O’ Neill worked as fashion model and her film career started in 1968 when she landed a small role in ‘For Love of Ivy’ and her lead role came to her in 1970 in Rio Lobo starring against John Wayne.
‘Summer of 42′ proved a huge hit and so did Jennifer O’ Neill who played the role of Dorothy, the young wife and then widow of a soldier who was killed in World War II and success of ‘Summer of 42′ made Jennifer O’ Neill an well-known actress from Hollywood. Her success in the movie landed her major roles for next two decades but she fetched more fame from television movies and her television movies include ‘Love’s Savage Fury’.
Jennifer O’ Neill also starred in NBC primetime soap opera ‘Bare Essence’, and CBS’ ‘Cover Up’.
A self proclaimed romantic, Jennifer O’ Neill went over altar for matrimonial vows for nine times and her nine marriages brought her three children, a daughter from her first marriage and two sons from other marriages.
Jennifer O’ Neill was a lifelong horseback rider and she suffered many injuries for falling from horses.
