Holly Madison, the Playboy Playmate, recalls her teenage days on MTV’s show ‘When I was 17…’ and talks about her high school days, her small town, and her boyfriend.

Holly Madison grew up in Astoria, a small town in Oregon State. She recalls that she wasn’t very good at her studies but started focusing on her school work when she realized that she could only escape from the country town if she had good grades. Madison tells that she wasn’t a ‘hot’ high school girl and always wore white make up and black lipstick.

With years her sense of style developed and so did her grades at school. She tells that her first few years at school were really bad academically and she skipped the school often. Madison admits that she soon realized that she has to get good grades if she wanted to get out of her small town. Recalling her teenage dreams, Holly Madison tells that she was bored and wanted to live in a big city.

Before enrolling in Portland State University and finding her place in the glamorous world of Hollywood, Holly Madison had to finish one last business at her town. She dumped her boyfriend at her senior year prom. Madison tells that her boyfriend, who was slightly older than her, cheated on her. Instead of forgiving him, Holly Madison decided to break up with him and move on.
