Who else than Howard Stern can express the pain that lingers and void that deepens on the condition of HSS sidekick Artie Lange?

This week was not different when Howard Stern chocked up his co-stars and fans when he mentioned about Artie Lange while hearing to the Jewel’s live performance of Needle and the Damage by making Artie Lange’s fans more saddened when he said that he did not know about others but his mind goes to Artie Lange when he hears this song and it seems to him that song was made for him to realize the Artie Lange’s violent ordeal- the needle and the damage done, not for the reason that Artie Lange was a needle guy but Heroin. Robin Quivers agreed Howard Stern by saying that why he has done that to her with a cracking voice.

It has now passed around six months but despite applying tremendous efforts to contain their show void of Artie Lange discussions, the Howard Stern Show staff is unable to do that for the reason that his fans are constantly asking about Artie Lange’s condition.

It is not only the fans who relish Artie Lange memories but sometimes Howard Stern himself did not succeed in keeping himself restrain of mentioning about Artie Lange.

Shortly after Artie Lange’s suicide attempt, one of his friends attributed the Johnny Cash version of the Nine Inch Nails hit ‘Hurt’ to Artie Lange and Howard Stern admitted that he has been watching the video repeatedly in a bid to cope with Artie Lange’s torment.

The good news for Artie Lange fans, according to Howard Stern is that he is doing well and will join his fans very shortly.

Fuck Artie. Dumbass had everything. Talent, money, greatest job on the planet. Still wasn’t enough. Douchebag couldn’t figure out how to do drugs and keep his job. Major loser. He didn’t kill himself he merely killed his career. Who in their right mind would hire a suicidal comedian? Do you think Howard will want to sit next to someone so incredibly unstable? The only way this’ll work out for Artie is if he goes through with it. Good riddance fat man. Shame Howard didn’t hire Jackie back to help push you over the edge. Idiot.

Addiction and Depression are the saddest and deadliest things around… Having Money + Fame just adds to the Depression and emptiness… It is too bad … I can only prey for Aries recovery and maybe one day he will be back with Howard and the gang….

No this is just not true, most of us Stern fans hated Artie on the show. He was a bully and abused people and tried to make up for it by giving or lending the people he attacked money. He later would insult and again abuse the people he threw money at when they could not afford to return it. Never made me laugh and if you check out the message boards I was not alone thinking that.

I appreciate that you have your opinion on Artie but please, keep it as YOUR opinion. Your line “…most of us Stern fans hated Artie…” just proves your own narcissism just might be right up there with Robin’s. I’m sure that if “most” hated him it would have come out over the last 8 years. I loved Artie and miss him and just hope he’s doing well and getting better. Stay strong Artie!

Too Bad Artie isn’t back yet he has become the core sprit of the show and hearing him on the replays have been making me realize more and more how brilliant he is as a comedian and a contributor. I recently saw beer league which was hysterical. Needless to say I can’t wait to hear him on the radio asap. He’s the best

  8. You guys all suck. Are your lives so empty that you will take the time to publish negative comments about Artie Lange. The man has brought countless laughs to so many people and gave so much to others. F ya. Let him and his family recover from this tragedy in peace.

In going back and listening to old Stern shows the last year at least Artie was just going thru the motions. Not that he was ever any kind of comedic genius to begin with.If they can’t bring back Jackie then I think Norm MacDonald would fit in just fine.He doesn’t seem to have anything going on.
