Willie Davis, the centre fielder for Los Angeles Dodgers in Major baseball league found dead at his home in Burbank California on Tuesday. The reason of the death of Willie Davis has not been given by the Police department however they ruled out any chances of foul play in the death of Willie Davis.

Willie Davis, 69 year old most talented player had the record in the World Series game of three stolen bases by leading the National League in triple twice. Willie Davis was a speedy centre fielder and he utilized his blazing speed to steel more than 20 bases in continues 11 years.

The Owner of Los Angeles Dodgers, Frank McCourt released the statement on the sad demise of Willie Davis. He said Davis was the most talented player ever of Dodgers team. Willie Davis represented Dodgers for 14 seasons and he was the part of the team full of talent and legends.

Willie Davis was the part of the team that includes other important members like Don Drysdale, Maury Wills and Sandy Koufax. Willie also had the team record of hitting streak of 31 games in 1969.

Willie Davis had the average of 279 in his career and he scored 398 stolen bases. He started his career with Major League in 169 and got retired in 1979.
