San Antonio weather condition is not good and the area is under threat of heavy rains and floods. According to the reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued the flash floods alerts and wind advisories for San Antonio and South Texas since the tropical storm Hermine approaches the Alamo City.
The officials have issued the warnings to the natives and the latest reports say that the warnings will remain intact from 1 a.m. Tuesday (September 7th) to Wednesday morning.
San Antonio weather is packed with heavy rains from Tropical Storm Hermine that is expected to continue soaking the San Antonio the whole day and night on Tuesday since the storm system makes movements to northwest through South Texas.
Since the rains initially did not cause any problems but later they caused several traffic tie-ups during the rush hours. Around 7 a.m. the traffic appeared to be light but by the time the clocks said 7:40 a.m. the police in San Antonio was working on almost 40 accidents.
The officials have made themselves geared up for emergencies and other relevant works. The utilities and law enforcement organizations are fully prepared for barricading, rescues and traffic enforcement since San Antonio weather condition is not good and the experts have warned about the likely heavy rains, winds and flood.
The natives have also been warned to be alert and cautious.
