The coveted beauty pageant Miss USA 2010 took place last night on Sunday May 16th at Planet Hollywood Casino in Las Vegas appeared to be the mega event of the world of entertainment grabbing many eyeballs from the country and outside world since it was aired live on the channels. The curvilinear beauty Miss Michigan, Rima Fakih was announced the winner.

Well the moment the announcement of the winner of Miss USA 2010 was made, the whole ambience instantly got filled with the sounds of claps emerged from everywhere on the location since the decision was acknowledged and applauded by the audiences out there. 51 contestants were fighting for the title and among them Rima Fakih appeared the winner beating out all the contestants with her beauty, talents, dexterity, style and intelligence. Rima is the first Arab-American, who has been crowned Miss USA in American history.

Born on October 2nd 1986 in Lebanon, Fakih grew up in Queens, New York. Her family moved to Dearborn Michigan in 2003. She is also said to be the first Muslim-American to win this title of Miss USA 2010 and also holds the honor of first Miss Michigan to be named Miss USA after Kenya Moore in 1993.

After fetching the crown of Miss USA 2010, Fakih is passionate about winning the biggest title of the beauty pageants ‘Miss Universe’ due to happen later this year. The entertainment circles and the common people are certain about her victory in the forthcoming contest of Miss Universe.
