A partial moon eclipse is going on and began at 1017 GMT, when it entered the shades of earth. The reports say that the moon eclipse would last for three hours. Due to the timing problem, the eclipse cannot be seen from the UK and Europe.
In Australia, it was seen and on the other hand, in many parts of the US and Canada, the moon eclipse is seen larger than the rest of the world because it happens while the moon comes close to the horizon.
The NASA authorities claim that the low hanging moons look unnaturally large when they beam through trees, buildings and other forefront objects.
NASA further expresses that the countries like India, Japan and some parts of the East Asia can observe the moon eclipse and they would be able to experience it on Saturday evening the moment the moon rises.
NASA also mentions that the 54% of the moon’s diameter would be covered and it will last for three hours. Since the moon, sun and earth are not arranged in a line, the moon eclipse will appear in whole.
