Discovery building in Downtown Silver Spring was under hostile earlier today. James J. Lee entered in the Discovery building and took three persons under his custody. James J. Lee remained on the Discovery building for more than four hours but was not ready to settle issues with the investigating agencies. Finally, the Police and investigation agencies killed him with a gunshot and three Discovery Channel Hostages were released safely.

According to the reports, James J. Lee, a homeless person attacked the Discovery building for airing couple of programs which he really hated to watch. During the negotiation Lee told that he didn’t like the way Discovery Channel is promoting population. He didn’t want to watch the program “Kate Plus 8”. He also stated that the environmental program is more a product advertisement program rather discussing environmental issues.

The Police department reported that hostile was having weapons and explosive material as well. James told that he had a bomb.

After several attempts of negotiations, the Law enforcement agency killed James J Lee with a gunshot and announced the Discovery building cleared.

All the three hostages were the employees of Discovery Channel; the hostages include a security guard and two communication officers. The hostages remained safe during the operation and a robot defused the bomb on the spot and then Discovery building was announced clear.

Well, people are suggesting that personalities like James are exceptions but still Discovery channel needs to keep the likes and dislikes of the viewers.
